Why I would like to live in Orlando, Florida

If I lived in Orlando, Florida I would live beside Disney World in a house that had a huge pool with a waterslide. I would have a storm cellar in case there is a tornado and air conditioning. I would probaly wear shorts and a flower t-shirt.

Usual weather in Orlando, Florida

this is the usual weather in orlando.

High:37.4 °C Low: 5.5 °C Average: 25.4 °C

The Winter months of December, January and February generally provide the most pleasant temperatures in the Orlando area. Humidity can still be on the higher side and rainfall is at a minimum. This is the time of the year when the snowbirds of the north, ready for a break from cold dreary days, visit Florida.

These 'average' temperatures and have been known to vary a good bit in either direction. If you are traveling to the Orlando area, it's always a good idea to pack a light jacket

Extreme weather in Orlando, Florida.

Tornadoes are produced when two differing air masses meet. When cooler polar air masses meet warm and moist tropical air masses, the potential for severe weather is created. In tornado alley, air masses to the west are typically continental air masses meaning there is little moisture in the air. This warm, dry air meets the warm, moist air in the Central Plains creating a dryline. It is a well-known fact that tornadoes and severe thunderstorms often form along drylines.

Most tornadoes form during supercell thunderstorms from an intensely rotating updraft. It is believed that differences in vertical wind shear are contributors to the rotation of a tornado. The larger scale rotation inside the severe thunderstorm is known as a mesocyclone and a tornado is one extension of that mesocyclone.
